Listening to some different radio trailer/advertisements, I have noticed that there are conventions that radio trailers have to follow. Firstly, the voice has to grab the audience whilst telling us what he's got on offer. This is normally why famous people do adverts as their voice is familiar to the audience because of their other work. In a radio trailer for films or dramas, extracts are used with background music which suits the film. So if the films a horror, a deep scary sounding song would be suitable for it. Most radio trailer are around 30 second to 1 minute long.
